About Extensions

There are many methods used to incorporate extensions into your hair.  We can apply anything from strand by strand to weft types of hair extensions.

When using the strand by strand technique, small strands of extension hair are attached one by one to small sections of your own hair by either weaving in, gluing, heat fusing, clamping with metal tubes or using waxes and polymers.

Alternatively, a weft is a track of several inches long on which the hair is already attached (a curtain of hair attached together at the top and free flowing at the bottom). A weft can be made by a machine or by hand. Handmade wefts are better, they are custom made to suit your head and match your hair. The extensions are then applied by using one row (track) at the time instead of strand by strand.

Our Method
We recommend a special proprietary method using wefts of hair.  We believe this method is the best of all worlds.  Using this technique, the result is a completely natural look, relatively fast to apply, lasts for four to eight weeks and does not damage your own natural hair. 

We will order your high quality human hair extensions for you with no price markup or you can go to the distributor yourself and buy them directly.  Either way the price is the same.  The wefts usually last for at least one year.

Application of the wefts is complete within about two hours.  Attachment is snug, but not tight and any mild initial discomfort will disappear by the next day.  After that, you will forget that they are there ... except when you look in the mirror.

Regarding day to day maintenance, nothing really changes.  You take care of your extensions just like you do your own natural hair.
